About Me

Holly Hartman head shot with brick wall behind

Hello! I’m Holly Hartman, an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University in the department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences.

I received my PhD in biostatistics from the University of Michigan. Go Blue! I have a BS in mathematics and molecular and cellular biology from the University of Puget Sound and an MS in biostatistics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

My current work is in methodological improvements for clinical trial design. I also collaborate with clinicians and work to provide better care for patients. I am interested in using statistics to identify solutions to health disparities.

I have also been extensively involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in my research as well as in my service.

For fun, I enjoy crafting ceramics, flying through the air on a trapeze, and hanging out with my dog and cat.
